Name Origin

The English name of Nuvoton Technology Corporation is a combination of the words "Nuvo" and "Ton". "Nuvo" is pronounced similarly to "Nouveau" in French, while "Ton" is pronounced similarly to "Tang" in English, which was one of the most prosperous dynasties in Chinese history. The Tang Dynasty had brilliant achievements in international cultural exchange, economic trade, and technological innovation, making it the center of the world.
