EEPROM

Traditional Application Area EEPROM

EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) is a type of universal non-volatile memory chip that can retain stored data information even in the event of a power failure. It can be erased and reprogrammed on a computer or special device. Giantec Semiconductor's EEPROM products have high reliability, wide voltage range, high compatibility, and low power consumption. These products are widely used in various fields such as smartphones, LCD panels, Bluetooth modules, communication, computers and peripherals, medical instruments, white goods, automotive electronics, and industrial control. End-users who use the company's products include well-known domestic and foreign enterprises such as Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, OPPO, Lenovo, TCL, LG, Canon, Panasonic, AUO, BOE, JD.com, Hisense, Haier, and Weiyida.

Automotive-grade EEPROM

As a leading domestic EEPROM company, Giantec Semiconductor now has a full range of automotive-grade EEPROM products with A1 (AECQ-100 Grade 1, -40°C~125°C) and lower levels. These products have high reliability and low failure rate, and the maximum erase/write cycle can exceed 4 million times. They have strong temperature adaptability and can store data for 100 years. The new product SPI NOR Flash is also designed according to the automotive-grade 125°C. The products are mainly used in peripheral components such as automotive cameras, LCD displays, and entertainment systems, and gradually extended to core components such as new energy vehicle powertrain systems, chassis control, micro-motors, and intelligent cabins.

After ten years of technology accumulation and market promotion, Giantec Semiconductor has become a supplier to many Tier 1 & Tier 2 manufacturers at home and abroad, and its end-users include well-known domestic and foreign automotive brands such as BYD, Tesla, Porsche, Hyundai, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mazda, and Geely. In the first half of 2021, the company obtained the IATF 16949:2016 conformity certificate for the automotive industry quality management system issued by a third-party authoritative organization.

NOR Flash

NOR Flash is very suitable as an instruction program memory for intelligent devices due to its appropriate capacity, flexible access operation, and non-volatile product characteristics. With the rapid development of application markets such as 5G, IOT, AMOLED, TDDI, TWS, and automotive electronics, the demand for NOR Flash continues to grow. Especially in high-reliability application scenarios such as automotive electronics and 5G base stations, NOR Flash has become a necessity, and its value is irreplaceable.

Voice Coil Motor (VCM) Driver Chips

The camera module of a smartphone is an important application area for VCM driver chips. The increasing demand for smartphones and higher photo shooting requirements have led to a stable growth of the VCM driver chip market. With the increase in multi-camera and front-facing autofocus camera applications, the market size of VCM driver chips will further increase.

In the field of VCM driver chips, Giantec Semiconductor is one of the few suppliers in the world that can provide a full range of VCM driver products. It is also the only manufacturer in the market that can provide high-performance EEPROM and VCM driver chips at the same time. Based on its technical accumulation in stable algorithms, parameter self-detection, and demagnetization current self-calibration, the company is committed to continuous technological optimization and upgrading. It relies on customer resource advantages to achieve market expansion with higher added value, such as closed-loop and optical anti-shake VCM driver chips, to enhance its market share and brand influence in this field.

Smart Card Chips

Smart card chips are chip products that are pasted or embedded in various smart cards (also known as IC cards), such as CPU cards, logical encryption cards, and RFID tags. They contain microprocessors, input/output device interfaces, and memory (such as EEPROM), which can provide data calculation, access control, and storage functions. The smart card chip product line is divided into NFC Tag series products, logical encryption card series chips, contact storage card chips, CPU card series chips, and Reader series products. Common applications include transportation cards, access cards, campus cards, membership cards, etc.

Based on its technical accumulation and R&D strength in the EEPROM field, Giantec Semiconductor gradually developed smart card chip products by extending its EEPROM business to the application end and relying on China's mature integrated circuit supply chain. It provides cost-effective security identification chip solutions for global customers and market applications. The stability and reliability of its products have been widely recognized by customers in the global industry, and its market brand advantage is significant.
